1: Agreement
The agreement is concluded by acceptance of the offer of Holiday home Noordwijk by the holiday maker. After the conclusion of the agreement, the holiday maker receives as soon as possible in writing or by email a confirmation thereof with a copy of the rental conditions.
When booking through the Internet, the hirer is informed before acceptance of the confirmation that he is entering into an agreement and which conditions apply to it. By confirmation of the booking by Holiday Home Noordwijk, the holiday maker is bound by this agreement.
2: Price and price change
The price is agreed on the basis of the then current rates, which are set by the Holiday Home Noordwijk.
In the event that after determination of the agreed price, by an increase of charges on the side of the Holiday Home Noordwijk, additional costs arise as a result of a change in charges and/or levies, which directly relate to the vacation residence or the holiday maker, these may be passed on to the holiday maker, also after the conclusion of the agreement.
3: Travel Fee & Payment
The travel price as published in the confirmation consists of the gross rental amount plus:
- Cleaning fee
- Booking fee
- Tourist tax
At the conclusion of the agreement, full payment must be made.
4: Changes recreationist
Changes after the conclusion of the agreement by the holiday maker can take place in consultation with Holiday Home Noordwijk. However, Holiday home Noordwijk has the right to refuse a change and/or to make a calculation of the more/less costs. If this leads to a cancellation of the agreement the cancellation arrangement as stated in article 5 shall apply.
5: Cancellation by the holiday maker
Upon cancellation, the holiday maker shall pay a fee to Holiday Home Noordwijk.
This amounts to:
For cancellation more than three months before the start date, 20% of the rental price;
For cancellation within three to two months before the start date, 50% of the rental price;
For cancellation within two to one month before the start date, 70% of the rental price;
For cancellation within one month before the start date, 90% of the rental price;
Cancellation on the day of arrival: 100% of the complete trip price, including all surcharges.
6: Cancellation insurance
If your trip cannot or must be interrupted due to unforeseen circumstances, it is advisable to take out cancellation insurance! This can be done through your own insurance office/bank.
7: Premature departure
The holiday maker shall owe the full price for the agreed rental period in the event of early departure.
8: Liability
Vacation Home Noordwijk is not liable for consequences of extreme weather or other forms of force majeure.
The holiday maker is obliged to keep the vacation home and its immediate surroundings, during the term of the agreement, in the same condition in which the holiday maker received it.
The holiday maker is liable towards Holiday Home Noordwijk for damage caused by the acts or omissions of himself, the fellow holiday maker(s) and/or third party/parties, as far as it concerns damage that can be attributed to the holiday maker, the fellow holiday maker(s) and/or third party/parties.
Vacation Home North Quarter is not liable for any accident, theft or damage on its premises unless it is the result of a failure attributable to Holiday Home North Quarter.
9: Complaints and liability
Defects of the accommodation found by the holiday maker must be reported by the tenant to Holiday Home Noordwijk within 24 hours after the occurrence or observation thereof. The holiday maker must always give Vakantiehuis Noordwijk the opportunity to repair any defects.
Vacation home Noordwijk cannot be held liable for any (noise) nuisance from adjacent accommodations, construction and/or renovation work etc.
In case of malfunctions, defects etc. to central installations of the residential buildings in which the accommodations of Holiday Home Noordwijk are located, Holiday Home Noordwijk will notify the building manager as soon as possible. Vacation home Noordwijk cannot be held liable for the consequences of such incidents.
10: Dissolution of the agreement by Holiday Home Noordwijk
Vacation home Noordwijk has the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect if unforeseen circumstances arise that render the rented object unavailable. These circumstances can be: sale of the accommodation, the accommodation being uninhabitable, unforeseen termination of the rental by the owner of the accommodation etc.
If Holiday home Noordwijk cannot deliver the accommodation due to circumstances beyond their control, then the holiday maker shall be refunded the rental sum but shall not be entitled to any compensation for costs or damage. In such case, vacation home Noordwijk shall make every effort to offer the holiday maker an alternative that is as similar as possible for the same or another period.
